![]() Besides the fact that I’m NOT convinced they didn’t know how to turn off the sprinkler system, what “resort” has their sprinklers come on at prime time when everyone is outside cooking and enjoying the evening? Our neighbor beside us said they complained to staff the day before about the sprinklers and received the same response. He asked them to turn off the sprinklers and they just smirked and shrugged and said that was a maintenance issue and it was Sunday. My husband went into the office after hours where the staff were all gathered at the bar drinking. On top of that the day before this incident we were sitting outside enjoying the afternoon when all of the sprinklers came on and soaked all of us, kids toys, chairs, car seats, everything. All of this happened in front of my six year old son who came back to our camper crying. Obviously that didn’t happen so we were kicked out. My husband of course stood up when he jumped off his cart and then he screamed at my husband to sit down. He jumped off of his cart and scream at my husband about driving our cart too fast and then that’s when he went on the fire pit rant. Then they very aggressively called us a liar when we told them the brown spot was already there. There was already a brown spot in the grass from the previous fire pit so we assumed it should go in the same spot. They gave us a fire pit and accused us of burning their grass. ![]() The staff are beyond rude and will kick you out for no good reason. It is not worthy to spend $116 per night with no discounts applicable except for the military.…ĪVOID AT ALL COST. The bathroom is clean but showers with old worn up faucets. My advise: do not go there because you will park on gravel site with a loose water hook up set up. The highest RV fee i paid in Alaska at the KOA at their national park. I saw that there are plenty of sites fitting my RV size! Why did they put me on the sites designed for big rigs to take advantage of innocent travelers to entrap with the most expensive site fee when i traveled for2.5 months. When I arrived and found the park unattractive unlike KOA. They were not transparent until they charged me upfront for same day reservation to email me that caught me off for $116.- with a policy statement that I couldn’t cancel because i made the same day reservation. They assigned me to 40 ft pull through site that i did not ask for and charged me without telling me upfront. I have a 24 ft RV that i need full hook up for 30 amp. The price for a site was outrageously price. The location is 5 miles from the Moran entrance but they are definitely taking advantage of the location and the price is about double of what the place is worth. I put my rug out to cover the muddy tracks (no sod in this spot) and at least have a place to put my chairs and after day two of my rug being out with employees passing by several times per day, I came back to my rug being removed from its spot and stuffed in my steps with a nasty note taped to the door. I also overheard one of the workers make a rude comment that I didn't know how to drive. They said they would refund my money but at this point where would I go? You have to make reservations several months in advance in this area. This was a lie because I looked in the park during the week and it was about 70% full until the day we departed. ![]() I asked to be moved where there was some grass and was told they were booked and couldn't move me. After 30 minutes they were successful wanted to put me in a spot 2 slots down with the same issue. They had to pull me out while I drove backwards. Because the angularity of the spots is too sharp for large rigs I sank in the mud up to the axles. It was newly renovated and had soft dirt on both sides of the space. I was directed into my spot from a 12' wide road to a 10' wide spot. Let me preface this by saying there was a significant amount of rain before we got there and that didn't help the situation. Other than the location, this place is terribly run and the workers are rude.
